New pics
I have moved some pictures around and added some new ones, so check them out. We have been very bad about taking pictures and updating everyone, sorry.
The life of a resident and a nurse is mostly spent in the hospital and as fun and interesting as that sounds it is really just exhausting. We love our jobs and we really like being home in NH where we are close to our old friends and families, even if it seems like we saw and spoke to them more when we were in NC. The first year just flew by and we are just beginning year 2 in NH. Hopefully, we will have more time to update the blog this year.

Happy Birthday Matthew
I can't believe that four years have come and gone so quickly. My little nephew is 4. I am so proud of him and of all of his accomplishments, especially the way he can finger paint and play cars and trucks.
So, HAPPY BIRTHDAY little man, eat lots of chocolate and candy and play hard all day long. Your mother will need you to sleep well tonight after all of that:)

Christmas Edition
1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping paper but the gift bags come in handy for weird shaped items.
2. Real tree or artificial? REAL all the way! Sorry mom, It's just not the same.
3. When do you put up the tree? When my husband has a day off, like TODAY:)
4. When do you take the tree down? Again...when my husband has a day off. I usually start putting away the little things but he does the tree and lights.
5. Do you like eggnog? Nope, not a bit. Don't know why, maybe because I had fat free growing up. Ugh.
6. Favorite gift received as a child. My baby doll Cherie. She was the size of a real baby and Santa bought me a diaper bag and clothes. So exciting!
7. Hardest person to buy for? Brother Tim. There are only so many years that you can get away with buying Best Buy gift certificates.
8. Easiest person to buy for? Matthew. Can't go wrong with a toy truck or car.
9. Do you have a nativity scene? I do. It is just like that one my mother has.
10. Mail or e-mail X-mas cards? Mail.
11. Worst x-mas gift you ever received. Maybe a Barbie. I think I was the only girl in the world that didn't like Barbie.
12. Favorite Christmas story. I don't know what it is called but it is the one with the candy canes that make you fly.
13. When do you start shopping for Xmas. In late November and December. I don't start too early.
14. Have you ever recycled a x-mas present? Of course
15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas? COOKIES. "Jenny cookies" to be exact.
16. Lights on the tree. colored
17. Favorite Christmas song. Anything Bing Crosby, I like the classics.
18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Travel. We go to my dad's, then to mom's and Keena's house.
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer's. Oh yeah, and if you can't, you should be ashamed.
20. Angle on tree top of star. Angel
21. Presents on Christmas Eve on morning? Both. We have Swedish Christmas at my father's on the 24th then do Xmas day with the Corriveau's then to mom's.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of year. Birthday presents wrapped in Xmas paper
23. Favorite ornament, theme or color. I love my Swedish Tomte (Santa). He sits under our tree and watches over us.
24. Favorite for Christmas dinner? Anything is good for me. Not sausage!
25. What do you want for Christmas this year? To spend time with family. Oh, and a leather chair.

Sadie's Snow Day
It doesn't look like a lot from the pictures but we had some SNOW today; more snow than I had seen in three years. Sadie sat looking out the window this morning, eagerly, waiting for her walk. She was so excited about the snow that she tried to catch the flakes in her mouth. HILARIOUS to watch!
I can't believe that on my day off I get excited to see my dog play in the snow. What has happened to me?
